Dear Jesus,
Today is a new day that I believe will be hard. I’m realizing my hair is definitely thinning out. So, my sweet Jesus, prepare me for any and everything! I desire Your will to be done and for You, My God to be glorified. Help me rely upon Your love through the storms and through the rain, like the sun shining down from above. I rely upon Your love. Teach me Your Word today that I may know and love You more!
Jesus, I love You be now my vision and be now glorified.

"A great wind and storm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, 'Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?' Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, 'Peace, be still!' Oh yes, HE CARES! I want the storm to end NOW! In the midst of a great storm my cry is, "HELP!" Jesus immediately comes to my rescue. But He doesn't always quiet the storm - He quiets me. He rides out the storm with me and exposes my fears, my little faith, my doubts and my lack of complete trust in Him.
Jesus is the Creator - By Him all things were created - all things were created through Him and for Him! He is in control of the storm in my life. He will rebuke it in His time when He has accomplished His will through it. I will not succumb! I will persevere! I will learn bravery and courage. My faith will grow. My doubts will dissipate. The greatest gift I'm given while in the storm is experiencing the trustworthiness of my Lord and Savior Jesus! Being able to trust the Lord with all my heart and leaning not on my own understanding can only come about by knowing HIM! Experiencing Him! Believing Him through the storm and through the rain!
Thank you Jesus that you are in this storm with me. You care about me! You love me! You are working in me and in all who are caught up in this hurricane with me. I will settle in the eye of the storm where You will give me peace and calm as I wait for You to rebuke the wind in your timing. Janette
